    VERY OLD RUSSIAN HAND PAINTED LACQUER BOX
    You are bidding on a very old Russian lacquer box with a hand painted lid with a scene of a man talking to three women.  The box has a lock, but we do not have a key.  The box is 6" by 4" and is 2-1/8" tall.  Other than extensive crazing to the paint on the lid, the box has no damage. It has marks inside the lid, which I am unable to translate.  The box isn't signed or dated but appears to be quite old.
