    Original Government illustrated UX pioneer postal card mailed in 1889. The card advertises the prices of all kinds of candy sold by Webster & Company, Chicago, Illinois. These candies were usually sold in corner stores or ice cream soda establishments. Some of the candy listed are as follows: Opera Chewing Gum; Chocolate Cigars; Peanut Buds; Railroad Bar; Texas Jack; Taffy on a Stick; Chew Chews; Joe Joes; Baby Mine; Sponge Bar; Climax Stick; Dolley Varden Bskts.; Jaw Breakers; Sea Serpents; Strawberry Rolls; Slap Jacks; Bee Hive; Crystal Cigars; and Pipes of Peace. Not many of these candies have lasted into the 21st Century. How many of these wonderful candy items do you remember eating when you were young?
