The device was used for watering lawns or green-houses, and extinguishing fires, washing windows, carriages, etc. Excellent illustration of the product being used. Manufactured by Baker & Hamilton of San Francisco or Sacramento, California. Postmarked in San Francisco. This is a very rare early illustrated postal card.
The card was mailed to 32 Courtland Street, New York City.
Nice used condition. Some minor edge/corner wear. No tape. No thin spots. No pinholes.
The card measures about 3 inches tall and about 5 inches wide.
