MINT CONDITION
. This is a Russian hand painted & signed Fedoskino Lacquer & Mother Of Pearl box of incredible detail featuring a
double
Troika. It was hand made from paper mache and hand painted with oil and tempera paints. It has a multi lacquer finish. The artist used a large amount of Mother of Pearl which enhances its' beauty. He also used reflective paint which further adds to the unique beauty of this box. It is much prettier in person as the pictures do not show its true beauty. The box was painted in 2019-2020 by the established and talented Russian artist, A. Morozov, who paints in the "old Fedoskino style". It is signed by the artist on the front.
Also inscribed in Cyrillic is the word "Fedoskino". The box
measures
6" W X 4.25" H  X 1.25" D. It has a hinged lid. The inside of the box is painted a beautiful high luster red and also has a multi lacquer finish. We are the only owner of this box which has been displayed in a protected curio in an adults only smoke free home. This box is in

both on the inside and on the outside. Sadly, we have to downsize our collection of Russian boxes which is the only reason this one is for sale.
