Antique Victorian French Jet Mourning Lariat Necklace. 24" long (including tassle).
Hand carved glass beads are strung with brown silk and are hand knotted between most of the beads. It appears the silk has stretched a little and down on the tassle there is a small strand of exposed braided silk. As expected there is small/tiny chips/nicks in glass.
Estate find.
