Antique Military/Cavalry Husser (Cradle) Style Stirrups w/ Spur Spurs Rowels

Description

Up for auction is one pair of circa 1810-1870 or so bronze stirrup spurs.  This pair of Hussar style military stirrups are hand made and probably from somewhere in South America.   The stirrups have a rounded footplate with the
curved branch of a spur and sawtooth rowels.
The design of the
stirrup/spur is thought to have originated in Greece & the Balkans.  However, this pair is thought to have come from South America.  A really scarce pair of spurs.
