This is a nice vintage early printed advertising postcard promoting the Asbesto-Sponge felted pipe covering manufactured by H.W. Johns-Manville company at 217-231 Claybourn Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The image shows the Dolese & Shepard Company's plant in Gary, Illinois.

The corners have light wear. The upper right corner has a small crease. The image is nice and clean. The top area has some of the pre-printed form filled in with dates and ticket numbers. Postally used. Sent to C.E. Bohn of the Becker Brewing & Malting Company in Ogden, Utah.
Please Note: If you see a florescent colored line or streak on the postcard image it is from the scan, not on the card. Typically found a vertical line to the right of the center.The colors tend to come in Green, Yellow, Pink, Blue, Purple & Red.
